Book presentation in Transylvania, Cluj Napoca on 17 September
On 17 September, Istvan Batori’s first book will be published and presented. The book is written in Hungarian and contains the full Hungarian translation of the famous Renaissance teaching treatise entitled Il Transilvano. This treatise (1593, 1609, Venice) is the work of Girolamo Diruta, a Franciscan friar and Italian organist. In addition to the translation, Batori’s book also contains a study and a modern edition of the musical content of The Transylvanian.
